Our Story

Having built a career in Ireland’s top tier advisory firms, Paula Keaney wanted to establish a next generation firm. One that would cut through the noise of complex tax matters and that truly put the client and their needs front and centre. A firm where she could partner with leaders in business, offering tailored, innovative and commercial solutions.

What we do

Keaney Tax Advisors is a boutique tax advisory firm that offers expert, client-centred innovative advice. The firm is led by highly qualified, experienced and personable professionals. We are dedicated to offering advice that is shaped by the specific needs and interests of our clients.

Our nimble approach is driven by team thought solutions using the combined experience of our team. This means that for every piece of work, we collectively tease out the objectives, obstacles and ultimate preferred outcomes to develop bespoke solutions. As colleagues, we work as a team, tapping into each of our areas of expertise and range of experience to find the ‘right’ solutions.

My 20 year career has been shaped from working in Ireland’s largest professional services firms, namely Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton and Mazars.

I am a Chartered Tax Advisor and fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. I have worked with hundreds of owner managed business and high net worth individuals, advising on:

Mergers and acquisitions
Debt restructuring
Succession planning
Property transactions
Share Schemes
Share Buy Backs

Writing technical papers and lecturing on various tax matters are activities that I enjoy and that I deem essential as a professional advisor. I work in collaboration with the Irish Taxation Institute, Chartered Accountants Ireland, Chartered Certified Accountants, The Law Society of Ireland and the Irish Tax Review.

Having grown up in the West of Ireland, near the inspiring Atlantic coast, I am steadily growing a client base from East to West of the country.
